I am having an inordinate amount of trouble getting the VMRC to work from the vDC web gui. vApp thumbnails display, and update, but clicking on one to display the VMRC inevitably just displays "Connecting... Disconnected". I can see from the vCD logs that port 443 is being bound to the console ip address.
Currently the console ip is on a different subnet than the http ip, because although the Evaluation Guide states that both ips can be on the same network, I have not been able to get that to work. When I configure them for the same subnet I experience intermittent connectivity on both interfaces. I have reconfigured the console interface several times, always with a numerically higher ip whether or not on the same subnet (since the lower ip is automatically used as the http interface).
The default gwy is on the http interface. I am using the vCD 5.1.0 appliance. Thanks in advance for any insight.
