I had a quick question about potentially installing vCloud director into my lab for some potential design considerations. I was able to do this (download and install) no problem back in November and I have recently ripped out my lab and now starting over and cannot find the applicable OVA. I opened a ticket with VMWare and they directed me to a DEMO link. However I have some unique design ideas, and wanted to just run it in my lab hands on, not in a demo mode on VMWares portal. We currently have perpetual Enterprise plus licensing, however pending a move to VSPP.
Also I have found conflicting information in regards to the replacement for vCloud director if we do not have VSPP. Is the replacement technically now vRealize? It seems like it has changed hands over and over based on all the documentation that I have been reading. I demoed vRealize and it is farrr from vCloud director.
Is this download still available? If someone could confirm this it would be greatly appreciated.
