Consolidate vCloud VM using vSphere

Hi everyone,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've got one single VM in a vApp in our vCloud 5.1.2 environment. This VM has hidden snapshots which I think have been caused by our image level backup software. There are no snapshots recorded in snapshot manager or vCloud.

My question is; Is it possible (and safe) to use the Consolidate feature in the vSphere client to tidy up the delta files? Will this break the VM/vApp in vCloud?
